What is the minimum order quantity for an ODM VR or AR headset?+
Co-Brand projects support single-digit unit samples. Full ODM projects start at 5,000-unit pilot runs, with volume production scaling to 100,000+ units per year on 30-day ramp notice.
Can QWR manufacture for brands outside India?+
Yes. We already ship to 17+ countries and build for global brands sourcing a non-China ODM partner. Devices certify for international markets, FCC, CE, UKCA, RoHS, alongside Indian compliance.
How long does certification take?+
We run in-house pre-compliance for FCC, CE, BIS, and WPC, so we submit once instead of three or four times. Standard BIS certification spans 4–8 weeks depending on radio and battery configuration; international marks run in parallel.
What is the difference between ODM and OEM smart glasses?+
With ODM, you build on QWR's validated platform with customisation. With OEM, you bring your own hardware specification and QWR manufactures to it. Both give you full IP ownership of the final product.
